Seriously, I wrote this one back in '88 or '89, and parts of it still hold up. The premise of the series was that it took place in a previously vacant corner of Asimov's Aurora/Robot universe, used a continuing cast of characters, and Isaac set the author (me, Jerry Oltion, William Wu, and a few others) a one-page description of a problem, which then had to be solved using the Laws of Robotics. [If you're into Asimov's Robot Novels (e.g., I, ROBOT), these books are great fun.
